Public Gate (Cloud Access)

The Public Gate feature is the easiest way to get started with Dylaris. It allows you to expose your services without hosting your own ingress server (Gate). We provide high-performance, managed Gates in multiple regions.

How it works:

1. Host the Hub: You simply run the Dylaris Hub Docker container on your home server or NAS.
2. No Port Forwarding: Your local Hub/Link establishes an outbound secure tunnel to our Public Gate infrastructure.
3. Select Region: In the Hub dashboard, create a route and choose a region (e.g., EU (Europe), US-East, US-West). More regions are added based on demand.
4. Get a Domain:
   • Instant Subdomain: You get a free domain instantly, like myserver.eu.dylaris.com or gaming.us-east.dylaris.com.
   • Custom Domain: You can use your own domain (e.g., play.my-server.com). Simply create a CNAME record pointing to the region's custom ingress (e.g., custom.eu.dylaris.com or custom.us-east.dylaris.com).
5. Connect: Users connect to your domain, and traffic flows through our infrastructure directly to your home server.

This entire process is managed solely through your local Hub. No external configuration on our side is required.
